JUKI DDL-5550 LockStitch Industrial Sewing Machine Package for DIY
The JUKI DDL-5550N is a high-speed industrial lockstitch sewing machine (stitch type 301) made in Japan, designed for general seaming and a wide range of applications. This machine is suitable for all straight stitching operations on light to medium-heavy materials.
The machine boasts a sewing speed of up to 5,000 stitches per minute, low maintenance, automatic lubrication, and spare parts that are interchangeable with other major brands worldwide. It is equipped with an electronic DC servo motor (3/4 HP, 1 phase, 110 volt, 0-3300 RPM) and is not a walking foot machine, making it suitable for light-medium weight materials.
The package includes a thread stand, bobbin winder, oil pan/knee lifter, extra bobbins, extra needles, an instruction manual, a screwdriver, and machine oil. Additionally, it comes with a table top (size 48" x 20") with heavy-duty legs, a servo motor V-belt, and hardware.
The maximum sewing speed is 5,500 stitches per minute, with a reverse lift of the presser foot of 5.5 mm by hand and 13 mm by knee. The maximum stitch length is 5 mm, and the machine uses DB x 1 needles, sizes 9-18.
The package also includes an ergonomic task chair with a low-back design and 360-degree swivel casters. The chair is upholstered in black fabric, certified by BIFMA, and has a maximum weight capacity of 250 pounds. The chair can be adjusted from 34.6 to 37.8 inches in height.
