It is a single-needle lockstitch with a maximum foot lift of 13 mm, maximum stitch length of 5 mm, and maximum stitches of 6 stitches per inch. It uses needles from size 9-18 DBX1 (16x231) up to size 19. The sewing speed is a maximum of 5,500 spm and the maximum stitch length is 5 mm. The presser foot can be lifted by hand up to 5.5 mm and by knee up to 13 mm. The needle bar stroke is 30.7 mm and it has an auto-lubricating full rotary hook.
